Bad Religion are coming to Zurich this summer! Aside from having essentially defined the Californian half-pipe punk blueprint, Bad Religion have bucked the usual trend shifts or value decay of standard punk band history, evolving with one challenging album after another under amazingly consistent touring, retaining their core audience while retaining the loyalty of subsequent generations. The band has long since settled into its current lineup, which is arguably the most muscular Bad Religion to ever grace a stage: Greg Graffin and Jay Bentley join Brian Baker, guitarist Mike Dimkich and drummer Jamie Miller. Bad Religion occupy an almost unique position in the history of punk. With their melodic riffs, sizzling harmonies and eloquent lyrics, they added to the basic framework of hardcore. In the '80s, the band extended their template to the "neo-punk" sound of the early '90s, weathering the questionable dichotomies of the "alternative rock" era by doing what they've always done - releasing one explosive album after another to the acclaim of fans and critics alike. The band's reputation as socially conscious thought leaders can mask the fact that they have remained one of the most powerful live bands around. On June 25, 2024, you can experience Bad Religion's legendary performance live at X-TRA Zurich!
