The Show of the Last Dinner Party is cancelled
The band's statement is below:
Hey everyone ♥️
We’re all still buzzing with joy and gratitude from the end of the UK/Eire tour. Thank you to each and every person who came, dressed up, sang along and donated via Bankuet - we couldn’t do any of this without you <3
As we came to the end of the UK/Ireland tour, we put some time aside to discuss how to approach the upcoming European tour. The burnout we’re experiencing — emotionally, mentally, and physically — is something we’re taking very seriously. After much consideration we have come to the difficult decision to finish the tour with the last show in Prague. This means that we are sadly cancelling our November headline shows in Vienna, Zurich, Parma, Luxembourg and Tilburg. We wanted to give fans with tickets to these particular dates as much advance notice as possible to adjust their plans. We sincerely apologise to our fans who were looking forward to seeing us, and we are truly saddened to not be seeing you this time. Refunds will be issued by your point of purchase to the original method of payment.
This year has been incredible for us but undeniably exhausting and we have found that we need to take responsibility over the amount of shows that we can do. Pushing ourselves past breaking point is not a fair or wise decision for anyone. We hope that you can understand that our reason for cancelling these shows is to protect our well-being and give the very best performances you all deserve.
Moving forward and armed with the knowledge of our limits, we are working with our team to make sure we only book tours that we are capable of fulfilling at the highest potential. We never want to find ourselves in this situation again.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for being the most supportive, generous, and wonderful fans - it means so much to us.
With love,
TLDP

The Last Dinner Party are pleased to announce details of a new European tour this autumn. The tour, which includes 13 dates, starts on 28 October in Paris, passes through Zurich on 13 November and ends in Luxembourg on 16 November. The tour includes two festival appearances in Gdansk and Parma and immediately follows the band's long sold-out UK tour in September and October.
Tickets for the concert in Zurich are available from Friday 17 May at 9am via Ticketcorner.
To summarise the impact of The Last Dinner Party in a nutshell, or to simply attempt to summarise the highlights of the last twelve months, would inevitably do the band an injustice. With sold-out tours around the globe, chart-topping singles, the fastest-selling number one album by a debut band in years, a Rising Star BRIT Award, a BBC Sound of 2024 win and countless plaudits and social media discourse, it's hard to compare them to any other newcomers to have introduced themselves in the last decade, perhaps even beyond.
But amidst all the deafening noise are five smart young musicians trying to ignore what they can't control and instead make a lasting impression on the stages they've always wanted to perform on. The Last Dinner Party are a mesmerising, captivating live act. They began their journey honing their craft in the basement stages of London's trendy venues and continue to do so in larger venues across the UK, Europe and the US. And with debut shows in Australia and Japan announced for this year, further headline tours of the US and UK (including three sold-out shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo) and a handful of festival appearances this summer (including a big return to Glastonbury) where all eyes will be on them, 2024 is fast becoming as exciting a next chapter as their first was.
