Opération Zéro consists of Malick, JJ, and Kali: three friends who couldn’t be more different, which is precisely what makes them a spectacular trio. Malick originally comes from beatboxing and has a Senegalese-Swiss background. JJ has roots in Bern and Geneva, and during his teenage years, he played in a grunge rock band. Kali brings influences from Côte d’Ivoire, Spain, and France, which is likely one reason why, as a former producer for artists like Maître Gims and Stress, he developed an early passion for French music.
The band's diversity is reflected in their dialect songs, which often include French-speaking lyrics. Opération Zéro effortlessly bridges the linguistic divide between French- and German-speaking Switzerland, characterized by their unique sound and delivering high-energy live performances on every stage. They have already performed at venues and festivals such as Openair Gampel, Montreux Jazz Festival, Luzern Live, Zürich Openair, and Heitere.
