Mother Of Pearl Tour
BETWEEN TENDER BALLADS & PUNCH THE AIR TRIUMPHS
With her third album, Mother Of Pearl (release date: 29 May 2026), English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings opens a new chapter. Together with producer Sam De Jong (Gracie Abrams, P!nk, Muse), she has found a new creative approach: “It feels like I’ve rediscovered my voice.” The songs are more personal, more direct, and shaped by a renewed emotional depth.
Her self-titled debut album was nominated at the BRIT Awards in 2019, amassed over one billion streams, and received 47 gold and platinum certifications worldwide. With “Lost Without You,” Freya Ridings also became the first female artist in the UK to write and perform her own solo Top 10 hit. To this day, the song has been streamed hundreds of millions of times. The album also includes chart hits such as “Castles” and “You Mean The World To Me.” Her second album, Blood Orange (2023), continued that success and once again reached the Top 10 of the UK charts.
She is often compared to artists such as Kate Bush and Florence Welch for her captivating blend of self-assured strength and vulnerability, as well as her instinct for songs that resonate with people around the world. Freya Ridings’ music possesses an almost painful beauty.
