Ella Stern began her musical journey as a German pop singer-songwriter in her hometown of Vienna, following several years of musical theatre training in Hamburg. German-language cover versions of international hits on social media generated a huge response and led her almost seamlessly into releasing her own music. With her first EP, darf ich bitten?, in autumn 2025 and her first completely sold-out headlining tour of the same name through Germany and Austria in December 2025, the first major and highly successful chapter of her career came to a close. On January 30, 2026, a new one began with the release of her song “amelie.”
