Diary of Dreams (DE)
Diary of Dreams was founded 35 years ago, and their debut album was released 30 years ago. Since 1992, they have performed over 600 concerts in 38 countries and released a vast array of CDs and vinyl… and thankfully, there’s no end in sight!
In 2025, a new studio album will be released, and of course, the band will hit the road again with the new songs in tow. Anyone who knows Diary of Dreams knows that their live shows are truly special experiences—driven by raw energy and handcrafted music. Four musicians pour their hearts and souls into every performance. Each concert is an emotional journey through the many chapters of their musical history and, for many, a voyage into personal memories and future dreams.
It’s finally time for a new chapter in the Diary of Dreams.
Mesh (UK)
Mesh formed in 1991 when singer Mark Hockings met keyboardist Richard Silverthorn, later joined by Neil Taylor. Richard composed the music while Mark wrote the lyrics, shaping their signature sound. After early releases on Memento Materia, Sony Records brought them wider recognition in 2002 with Who Watches Over Me, especially in Germany.
With albums like Automation Baby (2013, #33 in Germany) and Looking Skyward (2016, #12), Mesh became a key name in electronic music. Highlights include a 2015 orchestral collaboration at the "Gothic meets Klassik" festival and worldwide tours supported by drummer Sean Suleman. In 2023, Vaughn George joined their live lineup, adding new dimensions to their evolving sound.
Kite (SWE)
Since the founding of Swedish synth-pop band Kite in 2008, singer Nicklas Stenemo and keyboardist Christian Hutchinson Berg have evolved their blend of cinematic electronics and anthemic pop into a captivating spectacle of passion, atmosphere, and togetherness. This journey was immortalized in 2019 with their performance at the Royal Swedish Opera, accompanied by a 16-piece orchestra.
Corlyx (US)
Corlyx, formed in Los Angeles and now based between the UK and Turin, fuse 80s post-punk, 90s grunge, and dark wave into their own style of Death Pop. Signed to Out of Line Music, the trio – Caitlin Stokes (vocals), Brandon Ashley (guitar/production), and Davide Rocco (bass) – have toured Europe, the UK, and the USA, playing major gothic festivals and shows with acts like Blutengel and Twin Tribes. Their live sets are high-energy, moody, and danceable, taking audiences on a loud, bass-driven journey through the 80s and 90s.
Mayflower Madame (NOR)
In November 2024, Norwegian band Mayflower Madame released their third LP, Insight, followed by a series of EU/UK shows. Their most refined work yet, the album blends pulsating post-punk, shimmering shoegaze, and ethereal psych-goth into a dynamic, hypnotic soundscape, mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher).
Since their 2016 debut Observed in a Dream, Mayflower Madame has built a strong reputation across Europe and North America, with Prepared for a Nightmare (2020/Deluxe 2023) solidifying their distinctive sound. Insight has received wide acclaim, including support from MOJO, Rolling Stone Germany, Eclipsed, Rumore, and BBC 6 Music. Known for atmospheric live shows, the band is preparing further European tours in 2025, including their first performances in Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.
Haneke Twins (CH)
Haneke Twins, a Greek/Swiss post-punk band born from Geneva’s underground in 2018, return in 2025 with two new singles: No Choice and You Say Nothing. Building on the raw energy of their 2023 album Stories of Violence, the tracks push their explosive, guitar-driven sound further while tackling political and social themes. With a lineup spanning Geneva and Zurich, the band continues to blur genre lines, drawing comparisons to Joy Division, Interpol, Savages, and IDLES.
Zuckerbecker (CH)
Zuckerbecker from Zurich and Bern peer up from their basement at a staggering world while playing loud guitar music. The quartet is devoted to punk, infused with elements of wave and post-punk. Their second album RETORTENSTADTwas released on May 30, 2025, on Mörtel Sounds / The Supermarket (vinyl/tape).
