Howl 20th Anniversary Tour

Gritty, dark, and uncompromising! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are back and bringing their smoke-drenched rock’n’roll to X-TRA in Zurich on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Their 2005 album Howl turns 20 this year — and that calls for a proper celebration. At the time, Howl was hailed as an innovative new direction — honest and stripped-down. An acoustic-driven record steeped in folk, Americana, blues, and gospel influences, it marked a stark contrast to their earlier garage-rock sound. Now, BRMC are set to revive this legendary album in all its raw glory. Fans can also look forward to more highlights from the band’s remarkable career — from Love Burns to Beat the Devil’s Tattoo.

Inspired by the likes of Iggy Pop, the Ramones, and The Doors, Peter Hayes and Robert Levon Been founded Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in 1998, naming the band after the motorcycle gang in the film The Wild One. They broke through with their debut album B.R.M.C. in 2001, which found particular success in the UK. Shortly after, they were invited by Noel Gallagher — a self-declared fan — to open for Oasis at the Royal Albert Hall.

Now, more than two decades later, the San Francisco-based trio continue to captivate with hypnotic riffs, pounding drums, and haunting vocals. It’s been nearly eight years since their last headline show in Switzerland — so don’t miss this rare chance. Grab your tickets now at ticketcorner.ch!
