... is the motto that currently applies to the heart of our concert facility. It is currently "enjoying" a special Corona Time Treatment to the fullest.

The centerpiece of any good concert location consists primarily of those devices that are not always immediately visible to the concert guests. In addition to mixers, high-quality cabling or speakers, these are also the amplifiers and controllers that deliver top performance at concerts and ensure the right sound.

After a demanding concert year in X-TRA, these also deserve thorough cleaning and maintenance!

Nobody cares for all our devices with so much dedication and empathy, than our longtime sound engineer Edi Mösch.

The trained electronics and sound engineer is one of the long standing members of the X-TRA family. There is no cable, no transistor and no switching device that he does not know personally and to which he does not give his dedication.
And it is this dedication that ensures that the heart of our sound system continues to beat reliably.

"We don't have a lot to do at the moment. This is the perfect time to clean everything thoroughly, replace components and keep the system in good shape," says Edi casually, when he looks up briefly and then immediately dives back into his work.

What revealed itself to Edi, when he opened the device case, shows that it's not just important to look at the outside. Dust and dirt has accumulated deep inside and must be carefully removed.

Not an easy and quick matter. It takes about 3 hours per amplifier or controller. And there are in total 30 of them in X-TRA!

"The nice thing about this work is, that the concert system continues to reliably sound TipTop!", Edi justifies the huge amount of his spare time he spends here for the moment.

What remains is the certainty that the next concert in X-TRA will be at the level of sound technology that our concert guests and bands are used to.
